Direct Employment Opportunities.
Whatever the length of your military career and whatever your role, we are interested in talking to you. We have many opportunities on site and in our offices for Ex Armed Forces personnel with immediate transferable skills.
Recent recruits who have joined Persimmon from the Forces have included Trainee Site Managers, Trainee Sales Advisors, Health & Safety Advisors, Trainee Quantity Surveyors, Bricklayers, Joiners and Telescopic Handler Operators.
"Combat to Construction" Traineeship
The Combat to Construction Traineeship is a Persimmon Homes initiative which enables service leavers to re-train into a rewarding second career within the house building industry. We will train and employ you, commit to pay you a living wage during your training, which will lead to a recognised qualification and above all, a fulfilling and rewarding career with the Company.
Through Combat to Construction, an NVQ Level 2 trade training programme supports you to make the transition from the military into house building. The skills and experience of many service leavers are highly comparable with those required to work within construction. The Combat to Construction Traineeship builds on those skills to help you start a rewarding new career with us.
Current jobs that are suitable for Service Leavers are advertised on “RightJob” and if you have access you should apply through www.ctp.org.uk where you should log-in and search for “Persimmon”. Alternatively you can use the search facility on this website to find roles by location or job title and apply directly to the relevant Persimmon business.
If you have any questions or would like to find out more about Persimmon’s commitment to Armed Forces Resettlement, please contact our Resourcing Manager Gareth Barnes at firstname.lastname@example.org
